These imperfect soap bars may have Stearic Acid spots, but they are completely safe to use.
What is Stearic Acid? Fats are composed of various fatty acids, with stearic acid being one of them. Harder oils like coconut or palm oil have higher amounts of stearic acid. Stearic Acid spots occur when these harder oils aren't heated enough, preventing the stearic acid from fully melting and mixing with the other fatty acids in the oil. This results in small, hard white spots in the soap.
Rest assured, these spots do not affect the quality of the soap. The weight, scent, performance, and texture are identical to our normal Lakeside Lime soap. Only the appearance is affected.
*Imperfect Soap does not come in a box.
