These bars of Cozy Cabin Soap have stearic spots.
What are stearic acid spots?: All fats are made up of a mix of different fatty acids. Stearic acid is one of these fatty acids. Harder oils such as Coconut and Palm oil have much higher amounts than other oils. Stearic Acid spots in soap is caused by harder oils like coconut or palm not being heated up enough, and the stearic acid not fully melting and mixing with the rest of the fatty acids in the oil, which causes small white crumbly spots in the soap. Besides look/feel, it doesn't affect the final product and the soap is still perfectly safe to use. The weight, scent, performance, and grit is exactly the same as our normal "Cozy Cabin" soap.
